A LOCALLY AND REGIONALLY SOURCED, FARM-TO-TABLE DINNER EXPERTLY PAIRED WITH SUPERLATIVE WINES FROM AROUND THE WORLD.
Our Saturday night farm-to-table dinner and live auction starts with sparkling wine on the patio of Stowe Mountain Lodge overlooking the breathtaking Mount Mansfield. We’ll move inside for an amazing locally and regionally sourced five-course meal prepared by Stowe Mountain Lodge Executive Chef Ronnie Sanchez, Chef de Cuisine Jeremy Martin, and Executive Sous Chef Jacqueline Cochran, featuring wine pairings courtesy of Farrell Distributing. Throughout the evening guests can dance to a special appearance by the Grippo Funk Band. Memorable, one-of-a-kind items, ranging from rare wines donated from the cellars of private collectors to large format bottles signed by the winemakers, vacation getaways, and luxurious lifestyle items will be offered through our live auction.

Stowe Charities is delighted that this year’s Stowe Wine & Food Classic will be hosted by Spruce Peak at Stowe, August 26-28.  The Classic has become New England’s preeminent culinary event and the signature event of Stowe Charities.  This year, we are pleased to offer Classic guests an opportunity for an intimate dinner with renowned winemaker David O’Reilly.  David, who with his wife Angelica and Ben & Julie Wolff own Owen Roe wines from the Willamette Valley of Oregon and the Yakima Valley of Washington.

This special dinner will be held at the Alpine Clubhouse at Spruce Peak on Friday, August 26, from 5-7 p.m.  Reservations will be restricted to only twelve guests, for only $2,000 per couple.  David will discuss his wines, his career in the wine industry and other topics of interest to guests. 

David will be working with Master Chef Jean-Louis Gerin to create pairings of Owen Roe wines with complementary dishes.

Stowe Charities is privileged to invite Spruce Peak members to participate in this special dinner with David O’Reilly and Master Chef Jean-Louis Gerin. Proceeds will benefit this year’s beneficiaries, Camp Ta-Kum-Ta and Copley Hospital
