Proceeds from the Stowe Wine & Food Classic go towards furnishing Copley Hospital’s renovated Infusion Suites in Outpatient Services. An Infusion Suite is used to administer chemotherapy and other intravenous therapies in a comfortable, home-like setting. Copley currently provides 2,000 infusion services annually. Renovation of the Infusion Suites will occur as part of Copley’s construction of a new Surgical Suite. Construction is anticipated to begin in Spring 2015, with completion by the end of 2016.
Copley Hospital is greater Lamoille County’s non-profit community hospital. It was recently recognized as a HealthStrong hospital for the third year in a row; the only Vermont hospital with that distinction. Copley has also been named one of the Top 50 Hospitals in New England, based on patient satisfaction. Its orthopedics practice, Mansfield Orthopedics, has been voted “Best Orthopedist” regularly by readers of Vermont Sports Magazine. Copley provides exceptional care and access to a variety of medical specialists, including women’s and children’s health services, cardiology, emergency services, general surgery, oncology, urology, and diagnostic imaging and labs, on its campus in Morrisville. Copley provides nearly $1 million in charitable care annually and is one of the largest year-round employers in the area and a leader in promoting wellness and providing access to services regardless of the ability to pay.
